More About Getting Out of Debt.

Here’s a couple of posts by other bloggers about getting out of debt you may want to check out.
Trent over at The Simple Dollar has a ten-step plan for taking control of your debt.
Much of it is based on the same concepts I followed in getting out of debt myself (I wrote about it here: 7 steps to getting out of debt. but he does have a slightly different approach to some things, and may be a bit better written. Color me jealous. ![]()
The second post is How Do I Find Who My Creditors Are? by J. D. at Get Rich Slowly. It answers an important question when it comes to debt, and you can’t pay off your debt if you don’t know where to send the money! I never really thought about it, but some people are so far down the debt hole that they may have lost track of exactly who they owe money to. It’s a short post, but a worthwhile read. He recommends people use AnnualCreditReport.com to find out their list of creditors. I love AnnualCreditReport.com, and you can read about that here: REVIEW: AnnualCreditReport.com
